yermom
11/16/2006, 09:08 PM

Octavian
11/16/2006, 09:09 PM
it'd be nice to get another score before halftime...

these defenses are pitiful

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:12 PM
looks like whoever gets the ball last wins

Herbie agrees on the Bush thing, heh

Octavian
11/16/2006, 09:13 PM
no times-out left for Pitt...hope they don't do something stupid and run out of time here.

even a FG would be huge before half

Octavian
11/16/2006, 09:13 PM
Herbie agrees on the Bush thing, heh

when's someone gonna offer us our own show? :D

Octavian
11/16/2006, 09:15 PM
27-24 Pitt w/ :03 left in the half

They'll be lucky to keep 'em from scoring ;)

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:16 PM
either one of us would be better than Holtz :D

I'm for WVA. Rich Rodriguez was the offensive mastermind behind Tulane's undefeated season. He got cruelly screwed out of the head coaching job, but he stayed on under the new coach to run the offense in the bowl game. He's a very good guy.

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:33 PM
i just want teams ahead of us to lose, and i like seeing the underdog win :D

normally i'm rooting for WV though, especially back when they played Miami every year

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:41 PM
31-27 WV 14:12 in the 3rd

nice run for White

heh, turf toe

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:44 PM
in other news, OU is killing Liberty 63-36 with like 6 minutes left in the game

afs
11/16/2006, 09:54 PM
i would challenge that almost pick being drop by the ground.

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:54 PM
i think that might have been a pick :D

yermom
11/16/2006, 09:54 PM
the way he came down, i guess it could have been a touchback

OUinFLA
11/16/2006, 09:59 PM
nice punt

yermom
11/16/2006, 10:04 PM
i call BS on this turf toe thing

White looks pretty dang good

I still can't get over how WVA essentially runs the option...aside from a periodic passing game they basically run their offense for 2 guys. And it works. Over and over. Makes the defense look like they didn't even see it coming. Amazing.

OU Adonis
11/16/2006, 10:06 PM
God I love the option

yermom
11/16/2006, 10:06 PM
and White runs into the endzone... 38-27 WV 5:03 3rd

bluedogok
11/16/2006, 10:21 PM
On that last replay of White running the ball in my fat self could have got 5 yards running through that hole. I guess defense is optional in the Big Least.....

IronSooner
11/16/2006, 10:29 PM
Pssst. Pitt. West Virginia's gonna run it. Seriously. Watch. See, told ya so. Wait, they're gonna do it again. Here it comes.

Slaton may have solidified his position on the Heisman.

The 276 number was up to that point of the game, here was his final line from Yahoo Sports.

S. Slaton, RB
23 Rush, 215 yds, 2 TDs
6 Rec, 130 yds, 2 TDs

Did you hear one of the guys on the broadcast ask Herb if Slaton was the best RB in college football? He said "as long as Adrian Peterson isn't in uniform, yes he is"
Cool.

The Big East is taking the old Pac 10 stance. Good offense and the worst defense in the universe.

I could never be for Pitt. Their fanbase screaming for Larry Fitzgerald to win the Heisman instead of Jason was too much. They kept pointing to the Kansas State game...while ignoring the fact that Fitzgerald disappeared in about four games that year against good teams, namely the Miami game.

Fags. Plus, it's fun to watch Wannstedt lose. He got too much credit for his time in Dallas. Everyone ignores how he tanked in Chicago and Miami as a head coach afterwards. Plus, he was an assistant at Oklahoma State. Screw him.

Yea, Mountaineers!
