I once dated a girl named Sue Nami. She seemed rather tame to me, but you never can tell. Mebbe she's just learned about Pearl Harbor or her Toyota dealer did her wrong. I like to think I always did her just right.
But seriously, folks, I pray that Old Nippon will survive this latest onslaught with minimal damage and no fatalities, well, 'cept for that &^$%! Hello Kitty!

Why do you guys give a rats about Japan? Especially Hokkaido?

If anything, let's hope the quake damages the Russian held islands....stolen from Japan years ago.

So last night I was having trouble sleeping (again). About 3:00am, I'm about to drift off and the damn TV starts making the most annoying sound of all time and hollering about a tsunami warning.

Here's my question: Is it now a survival trait to sleep with the TV on? Because that tsunami warning was only going to reach people with the TV on, which isn't a huge part of the population at 3am.

I can tell you one thing: if that had turned into a "watch" I'd have headed for the high ground, damn the torpedos or warning the neighbors.

Well, except for the cute one.

Neither Russia nor Japan deserve those islands. They belong to the US servicemen who lost their lives because of them.
