Who do you all think will play in this Bowl at Reliant Stadium in Houston?
It will feature a Big 12 Team vs. The #3 Big East Team.

That means someone will get either Louisville, Rutgers or West Virginia down here in the Bayou City! That could possibly give our team who gets the Texas Bowl a higher rankd opponent than the Holiday or Cotton Bowls....hmmm

Independence Bowl says OSU is their top target, otherwise I would assume that OSU would have fallen all the way down to this bowl (assuming they lose @ least 1 of the next 2, probably both)... Might go to KU if they can win the Battle for the Yellowbrick Road.

What's sad is that the real name of Sunflower Showdown sounds even more sissified.

Wasn't it called the Battle for the Yellowbrick Road in the 80's??? Or was that just a demeaning term given to the game due to the overwhelming success of both programs at that time.... Sunflower Showdown is a bit ghey..
