what's your upload speed from where the slingbox is located, and do you get paused while viewing the video. I understand that they buffer it now, so is it possible to biuld a large buffer first?

What the hellcrap? I thought this was the worst copycat thread ever, but apparently it's the original... What the heck is that thing and what is it supposed to do?

I believe you plug it into your TV and then an internet connection after which you can use it to log onto your TV and watch any channel from anywhere you want. I think...

it allows you to view your home tv over the innerweb. its been around for over a year or so. it would be pretty wicked for a couple of them to be set up for out of towners to watch OU games...

It's funny you would post this as we were just talking about this last night.

A buddy of mine has this at his place in Tokyo and he gets all the channels from back home in Canada. I'd never even heard of this deal until I was there a few weeks ago. Awesome setup. He said you just have to buy the box and you're done.

Will definitely get one when I move back.
