Im in! Anyone else making the trek from the OKC or DFW Metros to Waco? Figure Ill need to leave Dallas around 8.30AM. :pop:

I'll be there. Yeah, leaving at 8:00-8:30 from Dallas should do the trick. Is the Chezch Stop on the way?

looks like pops & I are gonna make the drive from Grand Prairie. Do we need to buy tickets now or should we wait & snag some when we get there?

The Czech Stop...is that the bakery right off of I-35 on the northbound side? I've never stopped there myself.

I've heard some folks say you can buy tickets outside the stadium for less than face value, but I've always gone the safe route and picked up at the Will Call window.

When I was there in 2000, I bought a student ticket for $5. The student walked up to the gate with me in case they needed to see an ID. They didnt even look twice.


Now, give me more info about this Czech Stop.:pop:

The Czech Stop of West, Texas (http://www.czechstop.net/home.asp) is south of Hillsboro on I-35. They are known for their kolaches although there are a few good places in West for them.
