It was killing me 'cause it sounded like an R.E.M. song but didn't, you know, suck.

Turns out I had heard it before. So if you're looking for it, it's not an R.E.M. song. It's on the Donnie Darko soundtrack. It's a cover of a Tears for Fears song called "Mad World".

I don't know why I couldn't place it before.

GoW is one of the best games(graphically) that I have ever played. The game itself is not bad, just very short. Oh, and that music I didn't recognise at all.

Gary Jules' cover of TFF's "Mad World". Apparently, he recorded it for $50.00 in the basement of a friend, and it has become one of the most downloaded songs of the last couple of years. It was used in an episoe of CSI last year as well. (I only know all of this because I saw that damn commercial on my way out of the house Friday and had it stuck in my head all day!)

Good song.

Are you sure it isn't REM? I mean, because it really sounds like them. Only it doesn't suck.

The not sucking is a pretty big clue.

No, it's actually Gary Jules. It's miscredited on iTunes.

Stupid ITunes. Well, if you want to download it on ITunes, look under Michael Andrews.

IT'S NOT MICHAEL STIPE!!!! It's Gary Jules doing is best Michael Stipe impression.

That commercial is a trip with that song on it.

But yes, he is in REM. I believe he played Cowbell on "Shiny Happy People".

It blows big time that it's X-Box only. Bulljive.

Frozen Sooner

Considering that it was written specifically to optimize the X-Box's features, it makes sense.

Eh... they could port it easily enough if they wanted to.

The video for the song is pretty sweet too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N3N1MlvVc4

I've only ever seen the end of Donnie Darko. Why is it I always see the end of these types of things and get all confused? Why me?
