This is where the Oregon loss is killing us. We're stuck behind a bunch of those one loss teams who lost, because we were too far back in the polls to get ahead of them.

It doesn't matter. The polls are all about being high enough to jump ahead of people when they lose, and to stay above them when you lose. Pretty much the only way to move up in the polls is to have people ahead of you lose.

That's true, though in the coach's poll there has always seemed to be a bit more respect given to those with quality opponents compared to the AP poll.

How anybody could rank LSU in the top team with 2 losses ahead of 1 loss teams and undefeated teams is beyond me.

See I don't think it's the Oregon losses that are killing us. I think it's our showing in our last two title games that these morons are holding against us.

Actually we were 16th last week and didn't move up at all.

Last week we were tied with Wisconsin in the Coaches Poll at 16. They barely pull out a win vs. Iowa and move up to #10. We beat Tech and stay at 16. Figures.
