Poor game planning on D.

They ran TWO halfback/WR passes on us in a row. TWO.

Texas' secondary is one of the worst in football...

How is that possible? Griffin and Ross? I dont get it but they cant cover. I thought it was fixed last week but I guess not.

The only "good" from this game is that we played absolutely horribly in every facet of the game on the road and still lost by 3. Sure, there are some systemic weaknesses, but the result was primarily due to our ineptitude tonight.

All of it should be correctable. Otherwise, watch for J. Lane to throw 5 TD passes on T+1 :D

Texas S Marcus Griffin was in tears in the locker room after Kansas State pulled a 45-42 shocker here in Manhattan. He wasn't the only one.

Its about time someone "gets it." This defense has been mad and upset with themselves all year and have yet to respnd.

pretty much the whole thread. :pop:

Just saw Snead's quote after the game that KSU has a 'very good defense'. Uh, sorry Jevan, but NO.

we've been "streaked by" about a 100 times this year. the play action, TE, just about anything has worked deep. not a football expert, but this seems to have some aspect of coaching....

---------------------------------------------------------------

and they STILL think they can get to the n.c. game in tempe with 2 losses...

------------------------------------------------------------------

oh yeah...the obligatory "don't let OU win the south" thread too.

But I cannot handle a loss to Aggy in our house. And I most certainly cannot handle such aforementioned hypothetical loss allowing those stinkin' landthieves to get another possible conference championship.

So please. Please. Beat A&M.

I don't know why this is a shock to them? Their pass defense is terrible, something like 105th in the nation. Had Tech made a single play in the second half or Nebraska not screwed the pooch on that 3rd down call, and they are back to reality weeks earlier.

I am all for the whorns losing every game they ever play, but it is my opinion we cannot rag them as a horrible team because of the obvious...they did kick our *** this year. For us to now rag them for being horrible would be a bit Aggie-ish. JMO

I am watching the re-play of the game on ESPN classic, I will say the whorns looked like underacheiving-Mack-Brown-led-teams of years passed. I thouhgt the old snake oil salesman got over the hump? **** em'.

I have to live around the excuse making jerks. Now the are saying the D cordinator has been no good after last year saying he was a genious and should be the next Cowboy coach. The will never realize that it is about players.

Yeah, this shouldn't exactly be a shock to them.

No, it's about coaching. UT gets the players it wants, then fails to coach them to win. Happens every year; last year VY had so much talent that bad coaching couldn't cause him him to implode. It's coaching.

It's neither...It's just the natural state of the shorthorn. Last year is akin to the one gazelle that gets away from the lion, a rare anomally in nature.

I find it interesting that there is a deafening silence(or lack of posts) from our friendly resident whorn fans on the board. I almost wish that the real jerks like HorninOKC and DWP hadn't gotten themselves banned to see if they would still be running their big mouths now. I somehow think they wouldn't be anywhere to be found.

The sound of glass shattering you hear is the window being slammed shut on the horn's national title chances for the foreseeable future.

Mack no longer has Radio around to pull out those games that should be losses. :texan:
