"But, overall, no, nothing has been that shocking in the nation's toughest conference, an estimation validated not by emotion, stadium size or Internet message board traffic but by the Pac-10's season-long, decisive rule of the objective Sagarin Ratings."

Ah, crap. Linky. (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2654252)

It's really tough to beat the ref's too in that conference. So yes, yes it is the toughest to go get a win.

The SEC is better than the Pac 10. U Tenn pwned Cal.

I don't have a problem with that estimation this year.

USC destroyed Arkansas, who may be the best team in the SEC this year.
Oregon beat OU (yes, I know, not really, but the Sagarins aren't going to look at that), the second-best Big 12 team.
Sure, Cal lost to Tennessee, but they turned around and whooped on Minnesota.
Oregon State lost to Boise State, but that's turning out to not be such a bad loss.

'Ferd, however, is the worst team in the country.

ROFL, the last time I watched a game Minnesota was in the commentator was calling them "a good 2-4 team." I know they've dropped a few more games since then.

I find that amusing considering that the Big 10 is sporting two undefeated teams in the top 5.
