The crowd at LNC seemed larger than many of our non-conference games last year. I know the student section was close to being full in the lower layer and that really never happened last year until football season ended.

Not sure if they showed it on TV or not, but the T that Norfolk came after one of their players 'shouldered' into Gerber (I think?) after they turned the ball over. Honestly I didn't really think he did it on purpose... there certainly wasn't any smack going on at the time.

At the end of the game, I was rooting for NSU to make some shots and stop embarrassing themselves. When that little guard tossed up a late airball, I turned to my wife and said, "Oh, I hope they spare him the chant." But sure enough, next time down the floor, it was "airball, airball" every time he touched it. They were as inept as it gets, and it got tough to watch at the end.
