I won ...I won 15-11

I was nervous and played like ****. I have only shot and played like once in the past 2 months and it showed. I was nervous cause I talked so much ****. Bri gave me a fight he got up on me 6-4 at one point. I could not hit a ****ing outside shot to save my life. I looked like a little ****ing girl shooting, but he could not defend my hook shot so I won.

anyways good game bri.

Dude, I saw the thread too late or I woulda bet the house on Doleo. He's younger, hungrier, and he's from the streets. Ain't no way some spoon-fed white boy gonna hoop it up on Doleoleo.

doleo has mad game, for reals.

The only reason I was able to keep it close for so long was that his outside shot wasn't falling. But much like those early Calvin Simpson teams, he can offset a poor shooting night with pure hustle, and when he decides to put the clamps down on defense...you are shut down. My hope coming in was that I could somehow get hot early and make enough shots to build up a lead and then grind out the win as I got more and more tired. Unfortuantely, while I DID knock down some perimiter jumpers...I didn't hit NEARLY enough. I managed to get an early basket thanks to doleo not expecting me to be able to go left-handed...but he quickly adjusted. He plays proper "big man" defense, forcing you to go around him, and as I tired out, my first step deserted me, resulting in my dribbling about aimlessly while I leaned futily against the Great Wall Of Dolemite.

All in all, a spirited contest, and I thank a worthy opponent for not skunking me. :D Good game, d.

Best game I ever had was against my roomie in grad school. Beat him 21-0. After that, it has been all downhill for me. :(
