...so I just wanted to say "Thanks!"
usmc-sooner and OUinFla as well, of course. Plus afs and anyone else on active duty! Turns out that I am able to get on the forum today. So thanks again!
Anyone I missed that it would be appropriate for, thanks as well.

Thanks, guys! My grandfather served in WWII and I've always looked up to him - even though I'm about a foot and a half taller. :D

I don't think 'Jerry's Kids' counts as a branch of the military but thanks for your service none the less.

i'd like to "give it up" to JK2 - he's at the national training center in Fort Irwin right now, doing their train up for deployment early next year.

I don't type much stuff on this board that makes sense, but thanks, vets.
I think that's what you meant. :D
Oh, and thanks vets. Good on you. I want to go beat on those bastages in California who don't want to pledge allegience to the flag at their meetings. To make up for it, I will say it twice at any event where we recite it. Freaking bunch of takers, they don't want to thank the givers.

I met him, once, at a place where alot of the gang bangers hang out (true story) and this dude was not fazed at all. I mean (and I sh** you not) he even kind of made himself at home. I was like, dude, we need to high-tail it out of here before somethin bad goes down. Olev says "I'm cool man, I was even hangin' out"
A year before the clerk inside was shot to death.
