I'm damn happy I've got insurance.

OR Room: $5,008.08
Med Supples: $398.46
IV Solutions: $44.00
Anesthesia: $1,049.40
Pharm-Gen: $85.00
Pharm-Gen Not Item: $198.00
Pharm-Pass Through Drug: $66.00
Recovery Room: $ 707.52
Total: $7556.46

I'm kind of glad that they didn't itemize it any more than what they did. I really don't want to know what they charged me for a set of $30 crutches. :(

Yeah, a lot of that is to offset the loss from other folks who don't or can't pay, you know like illegal aliens, and the working middle class.

Your insurance company will not pay near that amount.

You know what is sad? A hospital that shows a 2% profit for the year is deemed an outstanding hospital. So many hospitals operate in the red. Which is why see hospitals like Moore go it to bankruptcy more and more often.

I blame the illegal immigrants, the working poor and insurance companies. ;)

Costs should be going down soon....now that the Republicans are out of power.

Umm, I'm working middle class...

Yeah, I'm just waiting for them to battle it out so we can see how much we're going to be out.

So far so good, leg's just really weak. Not surprising considering they took out nearly 25% of the muscle. Starting PT next week so that should be an interesting test of my pain tolerance capabilities. Good thing they gave me a script for a ton of Perc's. :D
