View Full Version : Louisville v. Rutgers

Game should be interesting...at least for awhile. I'm torn on who to pull for...Louisville because a 1 loss Rutgers falls behind us in the rankings, or Rutgers because my dad was a freshman Scarlet Knight back in 1967.

Octavian
11/9/2006, 08:01 PM
A Lewuvuhl win keeps Texas from moving up and a Rutgers loss allows OU to move up.

Go Papa John's

well when you are considered a lower tier program, you tend to get more of the smaller guys so you are better off going for speed over size.

nice play by that linebacker.

The thing that really sucks about this is that it gives Texas a shot a rematch... :(

Sorry, Florida wins out, and plays a tougher teams then saxeT does down the road.

The computers turn on Florida when they play Western Carolina in two weeks. They are a AA team ranked about 40 spots behind SHSU. Somewhere in the 200's. The BCS is like sex. You play your schedule, and you play all of their schedules. So you SOS is determined by using about 144 pther teams' schedules. For the computers anyway. Which really is BS. Not that I think this mess is the way it should be. Computers should be considered only in event of a tie. Think they'll fix it?

What a great game. Had everything: upstart team vs. evil empire (of the Big East), stadium so full after years of being so empty it could have collapsed, big lead by the visitors, [:les:]great resolve by RU[/:les:], a big comeback, an exciting finish, and the entire field being covered by fans at the end. Good stuff. Choppin' wood!

You are correct. You were robbed. They should have worn masks.

Sorry to inform you, and you can mark my words, UT loses again in the regular season....not a great team this year...

That's the way I like it. It's more of a casual, frat-house atmosphere once the regular people leave at fiveish.

against who?

K-State?

Fran...in Austin?

A Nebraska team they've already beat in Lincoln?

Hopefully they lose all 3 all by 100 points but I'd be shocked if any of those come w/in 10 points.

I seriosuly doubt UT loses again in the regular season. Texas Aggy will show up but that means they hang around and can't get it done since they are one dimensional on O....if they don't get blown out first.

I wonder whether USC passes Texas if we win out.

Yeah, great consolation, isn't it? :D

Unfortunately, USC will likely lose again (barring a complete change in the scheme).

If Ito the kicker hadn't gotten a retry and Rutgers had ended up losing the game, Ito would have been poured into a cement foundation at some Staten Island construction project.

Oh, Ito... you won't see him around no more.
