I actually hope not. I don't know that he's shown enough to be a stand-alone DC, much less HC, and I would like to see him succeed. Besides, he is a very good recruiter from what I've heard, and I think he does connect very well with the players.

But if he were, I think he'd best be served staying out of the Big XII. And it wouldn't be fun having a longtime defensive guy like Lubick looking over your shoulder. Army might actually be a very very good fit for him.

If he did go a coach from stoops staff woud be HC at 3 other schools in the big XII... I think that gives us a recruiting edge: "Ya that guy he was nobody till I found him" type of deal. Not saying Bob would say that, but you get the gist...
