I think it went a little too far:

"was too extreme because it did not include exceptions for rape, incest or the health of a pregnant woman."

I think most Americans if polled want abortion limits, but not illegalized to this extreme.

Yeah, I understand it would have passed if it made a provision for rape, incest, etc.

That will probably be the model when it comes up here.
