i just saw that "first down catch" on 4th down. man, that was the first time i'd ever seen it. what a friggin joke.

Yep, I remember watching that and along with the announcer, saying "It doesn't matter, he's short anyway! OU wins!" And then being absolutely dumbfounded by their spot. I felt like the TD was maybe a little debatable, or at least could see how the refs would foul that up. But the 4th down catch I thought was the most clear-cut obvious thing in the world. It still puzzles me. The yellow lines are never a yard wrong.

Yeah, that game was hard to take. I mean, bad calls are just part of the game. We all know that.

But there is a big difference between a bad call just blatant cheating.

It seems like after that game all of the refs in college football have us on their drive-by list..
