It sure does seem like it. I'm watching Charles Gibson on ABC and they really seem to be pulling for the dems to take control. I'm not one to buy into the liberal media bias (at least not a vast conspiracy), but it sure does seem biased tonight. Maybe it's just b/c it's a big story b/c the republicans may be losing control of the congress, which they've held for quite a while now. Either way, they doseem to be making quite a deal of it.

Fox is pretty rah-rah for the republicans, so the other angles are covered to.

I'm watching cnn ( supposedly the bastion of liberalism) and they seem to be doing a straight up job. Plus, they have JC on one of their panels.

they are pulling for whatever result will give them more to talk about.

and it may seem like a big deal because it is a big deal. (not being flippant)

The stories on MSN seem pretty rah rah for the democrats. I'm staying away from the news but CNN, MSNBC, CBS and NBC always seem to be pretty much heavily swayed toward the liberals. Funny how the liberals who bitch about Fox seem to ignore that.

Yeah, Wolf Blitzer is a rah rah guy.

I only watch one channel at a time. If the market sustains more liberal bias than conservative bias, so be it.

well, yeah, but one channel does not equal out all of the others. it's simple math stuff.

Seriously dorks, watch Wolf on cnn. They have a panel of four split between repub and dem (JC Watts is one) and the coverage is pretty good. I can recognize bias and it has been insignificant, unlike the gleam in Katie Couric's eye.

Are you advacating some sort of regulation of Media bias? I think that would be socialist. If a conservative bias would enhance their bottom lines, I bet they would switch in a hurry. Viva la Capitalism.

bull****, otherwise they would have done so. you do know Fox has better ratings right? so, using that logic they would have switched. no?

I'm surprised some of you are being serious in this argument. it's not even close, and we ain't even talking about print and wire services.:texan:

News agencies go where the headlines are and thus, the sensationalism to draw ratings, to draw..... ahem cash. The bottom line will always rule major networks.

Man it's all about big news and ratings bottom line. Living in a repub state and getting it shoved down my throat every day it's nice to get some love for a change.

If Fox is the only conservative station, it would make sense that they would have higher ratings than 5 outlets splitting the Liberal market wouldn't it? Belive me CNN isn't what's costing Time warner Money. Also, CNBC is very conservative as well. The liberal bias isn't costing them enough money to force a change is it?

there's media watchdog groups all across the political spectrum. just sayin'. the real question people SHOULD be asking themselves is "why are the media so easy to scapegoat" by EVERYONE.

well when the average Joe turns on the networks and sees nothing positive about a certain story, topic or figure, it then tends to have a certain effect does it not?
I think many are well informed enough by their own ways of finding the news but there's a ton of folks out there who is a easily swayed.

Picasso is stuck in the old days when average Joes turn on the tv and heads to the networks.

Thank God the average Joe has Picasso looking out for them!! He is the cultural elite!! :D

picasso it all boils down to people are tired of the way things are going media bias or not. The votes tell the story and they have the final say not the media. I know I don't give a **** what the media says I think what I want and act freely just like all the people who spoke tonight. These talking heads are just that and do you really play the game and let them sway your opinion? Not I and I like to believe most of America agrees.
