The Sea Turtle farm in Grand Cayman

Is probably one of the coolest places I've ever been. We just got back from our seven day cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

It was so much fun just watching how much fun the kids were having. I've never seen them so saucer-eyed.

The ship the guy fell from was traveling side by side to ours the whole way.

Jamaica was a big disappointment for me, but then again, we were only there for one day. I would love to go back to Grand Cayman or Cozumel to spend a little time. I was really surprised at how under-developed Cozumel is. Our jeep driver told us that they are trying to maintain the integrity of the jungles. Driving to the beach, we drove through a swamp with alligators and stuff. Very few resorts on the side we were on. At the beach, there were probably 20 other people. Beautiful day...bar and a cafe right there...lounge chairs, tables ..snorkeling. Hurrican Ivan took it's toll a couple of years ago, but it was beautiful.

You should scuba dive. I've dove off Grand Cayman a couple times and have been real up-close with huge sea turtles. It's the allsome. Above ground, GC sucks, but below the water, it's killer.

Cayman is on the list of places for me to dive before I die.

Yeah, PADI open water certified from DiveTulsa.com, just got disoriented or something I guess.

I had a computer, but I got disoriented, and then I got so deep my air just got used up really quick.

The fact I didn't even get the bends still surprises me to this day.

after consulting my dive charts, I see that at 120' you can stay down for 3 minutes before requiring a safety stop and about 10 minutes total.

I've only gone to 110 on scuba gear. A lot of Tuba's problem may be that he's an airhog. I know all about that cause I always have to come up before everybody else. I seriously deep breath.

And most reputable dive boats will have an octupus hanging at 15' off the boat to breathe on while you purge nitrogen. I've spent lots of time dangling at 15' sucking boat air while everyone else is still cruising below at 60'.
