does seem a bit odd how we beat 2 top 25 teams (in their house) and have only moved up 2 spots in 2 weeks.

Don't overlook that the whorns are sniffing another shot at the NC...

It was tough in the Top 25 but with a 7-2 win/loss record and a narrow win on National TV, I'm surprized it was one spot.

There are only 2 other 7-2 teams ahead of us and LSU won a tough game and Tennessee dropped in the polls.

It's tight this week...

Lots of pretty good records out there...

That Oregon loss is still haunting us.

OU is a top 10 team. Too bad the scoreboard at Oregon said they won the game.

Still, this exhibits just how much of a joke human polls are.

If we lost this game by one point, we'd fall three spots at least.

Not that any of the polls really matter at this point.

it's tough to get voters to realize what each particular team has gone thru--for instance, in OU's case, we lost a game we really didn't, and we lost to a top 5 team.

these are things it's impossible to get each voter to recognize.

it's VERY hard to move up when there are no teams immediately ahead of you losing to make room.

Boston College lossing to (8-1) Wake Forest was the reason for us moving up one.

But to those bumbling idiots that vote in the polls, do not watch anything other than ND, USC or tOSU and only see the scores scroll by on the ESPN ticker we are 7-2. I feel like that I am more well informed than 99% of the pollsters because I try to watch some of every game on at a minimum.

Tenn and BC were the only teams ahead of us that lost. You're delusional if you think that we're jumping teams that won or didn't play with a one point win. We need Rutgers to lose and lose bad. We need to win and win pretty big. I think wisc could lose at iowa nest week, that could help. Then, we will move up two or three spots. Especially, if tenn loses to arkie at fayettevile.
We keep winning decidedly and we will crack the top 15 before lOSUr.

Yes, we REALLY need Rutgers to lose. If Louisville loses Clappy The Hampster could be clutching crystal again.*gag*

I would like to finish in the top 10 but it's probably not going to happen even if we win out unless we play a top 10 team in a bowl game ala Oregon last year and win. I am just really excited about the team and how they are playing right now so were we finish in the polls is really inconsequential except for maybe bragging rights.

I think we would beat any of those teams ranked 7 thru 16.

That "2" in OUr loss column is killin us....thanks again Pac-10.

When the idiot and our starting center left...

We fell out of the polls.

Although I don't miss them...

It's hard to stomach now that this team is showing what they are made of...

If AD had gotten hurt at the same time, they would have probably dropped us out of the Top 25 then.

We're fighting an uphill battle for a decent Bowl and for Pride.

I think we won the battle for Pride last night.

I say we finish 11-1 and go kick some a$$ in a bowl.
