This is truly funny.

• Harris situation: OU defensive back Nic Harris was flagged for taunting after tackling Texas A&M's Martellus Bennett in the first quarter.

Harris stood over Bennett and made a ripping gesture with his arms. Coach Bob Stoops was quick to get in the face of Harris when he came to the sideline after the play.

The penalty, coupled with a late-hit penalty on linebacker Curtis Lofton on the next play, kept alive an Aggies' touchdown drive.

Late in the first half, Harris made another big tackle on Chad Schroeder for an eight-yard loss. Teammate Larry Birdine immediately grabbed Harris and escorted him toward the sideline.

Yep, I just read that. JW3K and I were yelling for our guys to no longer look at aTm players, for fear of drawing another flag.

I guess Nic was pumped up for that game. I love his attitude though.

That is "Play like a Champ" attitude.

Funny how A&M's QB didn't get the same penalty after he made the diving first down and jumped up did the first down motion and taunted the OU defense...

I personally hate that crap but it happens in every game, every week. I thought it was a bs call and added to the late hit call, felt it was a slight turning point in the game. It put OUr D on their heels, like they were a bit hesitant.
If you are gonna call it, make an announcement across the board to every team and hold to it, no taunting. To call that was just stupid.

I saw Birdine doing that and laughed hysterically.

The players will actually shrug off the accolades of their own teamates to get out in the limelight and strutt and dance.

I think this is a marketing ploy/name recognition move for future NFL status.
