Hawaii's Colt Brennan has some amazing stats. Gameday Final did a deal on him last night about 1:00 AM. So I looked him up and holy-fuggin'-bigass-numbers-Batman! His stats are gawdy, garish, downright huge numbers.:texan:

And, they said that Hawaii and Coach June Jones have already accepted an "invitation" to play in the Hawaii Bowl/Aloha Bowl/Whateverthe**** Bowl coming up.

2006 Stats:
248/340 Passing
3347 Yards
72.9% Completion Rate
39 TDs
6 Ints
189.95 QB rating

Dood can ball, y'all.

25 TDs
4 Ints
150.04 QB Rating

Troy Smith

2006 Yards
66.7% Completion Rate
22 TDs
3 Ints
165.87 QB Rating

Brennan has the dreaded "System QB" tag.

You probably need your college to be joined to together with the "big 48" to get any decent hype also

Hawaii ALWAYS plays in the Hawaii Bowl..and Brennan likley is a system QB...Every U of H QB has a ton of yards and usually leads the nation in passing.

Plus, unlike Brady Quinn and Notre Dame, Colt Brennan has not had to face stiff competition. You know, like UNC, Stanford, and Navy. :D

Yeah, you don't wanna play Hawaii or Boise State in their home bowl games.

Play a decent schedule would also help.

The average rank of the passing defenses he's played against is around 89.

Tech QBs would have a field day with that.

It's nice to see a Hawaii player get some props on a Sooner Board. Colt Brennan is the real deal. He's smart, can scramble and is accurate. Hawaii runs June Jones's Run and Shoot and Brennan has to read the DBs for his 4 WRs every play. He takes what the Defense allows. He'll pick a team apart. Last week against Idaho he was 9 for 9 on 3rd down conversions. His stats also don't reflect that for several games this season he's only been in the game for 3 quarters.

Watch for him later this month when Hawaii plays Oregon State on ESPN2.

Brennan was origianlly at Colorado, but had some kind of minor sexual misconduct (showed a co-ed little Colt in teh dorms) and was encouraged to leave.

Brennan was also Matt Leinart's backup at QB while in high school.
