and tear down the goal posts - an obvious overreaction by win-starved UK fans here in Lexington, fans used to losing or mediocre football. It sort of reminded me of the fans of a certain Pacific NW team who flooded the field after a game was handed to them by the refs earlier this year. A mere manifestation of mediocrity.

It's like NU fans storming the court everytime we beat a semi-decent basketball team. After awhile you just say screw it, and revel when you can.

I say good for the fans. They beat what should be one of the top SEC teams (but much to my enjoyment they really suck).

I wonder if Bama fans will tear down our own goal posts if we manage to stay within 20 of Auburn?

I think Kentucky was celebrating bowl-eligibility moreso than beating a so-so Georgia team.

My wife went to UK, and we listened to the last part of that game. Obviously, the win over UGA made her really happy.

Face it, UK is not a good football team, nor do they have a strong football tradition, while UGA is rebuilding, and DOES have a football tradition. So, I'm just happy for the Wildcats and their fans today.
