This would be awful boring otherwise.

Looks like we'll probably be going home today though. I haven't seen the doctor all morning.

Pediatric ICU is mostly full of babies. Really sad.

Well, the doctor is cutting back treatment to every 6 hours and if things still look good this evening, we'll come home tonight.

BTW......this little place in the food court actually has a pretty good Philly sandwich.

I can enjoy smelling that grease spot on my shirt for the rest of the evening.

well.......it didn't pan out for tonight.

They got him up and walked him around. Decided he was a little too weak to go home tonight.

Tomorrow it is.

That's wonderful that they are even thinking about sending him home.
Honestly, I think it is a bad idea to send you home with an asthmatic child at night. You'd be up checking on him or doing nebulizer treatments all night. Let the nurses do it tonight. Then you guys can go home first thing in the morning.
And I don't want him to be sent home and then need to readmitted within a few hours. If a couple of extra hours in the hospital can prevent that, it's worht it. Readmission is depressing.

The wife left town.

I can't even fake sleeping tonight to get out of his breathing treatment in the middle of the night.

YAY for SAS Jr.! Here's to hoping this is past him permanently!

I had all three kiddos get sick during the course of today. All have flu like symptoms & low grade fevers. Prolly no school tomorrow for any of them.
