Last Night I witnessed something quite amazing. Probably the fastest white guy I have ever seen, one of the best performances I have ever seen, and one of the most amazing football plays I have ever seen in my life.

I attended the Cy-Fair- Cypress Creek game last night in Houston and the leading rusher in the Greater Houston area, Cy-Fair junior Sam McGuffie had 12 carries for 270 yards and 5 touchdowns...........................IN THE FIRST QUARTER!!!!

This guy is unbelievable. He has over 2,000 yards already, ran a 4.29- 4.30 40 Yard dash and is unbelievably athletic, averaging over 9 yards per carry in Class 5A in Houston, which is not easy to do.

So I am watching the game at Pridgeon Field...one of the nicer stadiums in Houston, equipped with it's own Big Screen/ Instant Replay and everything. The amazing play (which I am sure will be on YouTube soon), was a toss left from the 15 yardline I believe....
I AM NOT EXAGGERATING....MCGUFFIE broke wide and JUMPED OVER THE CORNERBACK,LANDED ON HIS FEET and KEPT RUNNING and SCORED. The guy was not on the ground or falling..McGuffie HURDLED A UPRIGHT DEFENDER and the stadium went wild. I have never seen nothing like this in my life. I wonder if this kid is on OU's radar. He is only a junior and he is awesome and has a great work ethic. He finished the game last night with 8 touchdowns and almost 400 yards despite really playing 2.5 quarters fulltime.

I saw him play a couple of weeks ago against Jersey Village. He has great speed and vision and was fun to watch. I do not know if that makes up for size (5'8", 170)

If you think Pridgeon is nice, you should see a game at the new complex, Berry. I understand it cost about $80 million. Beautiful.

It's unbelievable the amount of money we put into the High School facilities here. That would probably explain my high School Taxes at my house. and my daughter is too young to even use this crap!

But it makes for an enjoyable Friday Night Football or Basketball game :O

He's one of the top prospects in the city of Houston, sand is getting national recognition by schools. Think it's safe to assume he's on our radar. However, it looks like he favors USC and Florida like every recruit does nowadays.

pssst, we do have a recruiting forum.

I was also quite impressed with Mike Harris. 410 yards and pulled early... I hear, but the video I've seen on him makes him just as hot of a priority. I like him more since he's not a :texan:.

I Googled Cy-Fair and found it. The hurdle is at about the 40 second mark.

BIG_IKE

He is a Junior. Last year as a sophomore he led his team to the State Quarter-Finals and gave Spring Westfield all they could handle in the regional championship. They play text book ball and seldomly throw. They run and pretty much let you know they are gonna run, but it works.

There are SO many guys in the greater Houston area with a ton of talent, but it just doesn't seem like we recruit heavily here. OU could clean up down here if they wanted to.
