“They still have a lot of talent,” Texas A&M coach Dennis Franchione said. “I was hoping the offensive line wouldn’t be playing as good as it’s playing, but they’re playing pretty good. They’ve got good quality receivers and I’ve always thought Paul Thompson was a good quarterback."

nothing like hoping the other team sucks. apparently that's what he's hanging his hat on anyway. what a doooche.

Francione sucks.

But I don't think that being honest in this interview is one of those reasons he sucks.

Kinda refreshing to hear a coach say, "Man, I wish the other team wasn't so good - they'd be a lot easier to beat."

Don't the rest of you get tired of coachspeak all the time?

The title of the article gave a good indication that the article was going to be about the Sooners. It was more of an Aggie tribute than a Sooner one.

Why all the hatred for Fran?

Any male named Fran deserves it...

for Fran to compliment OU's O-line is nice.

He's had some really good O-lines in his career.

I shudder when I think of that Bama O-line in the second half the 1 game we played them with him at the helm. Can't remember the year and am too lazy to look it up, but they were friggin' dominant against us that second half.
