Coach Bob Stoops is one of the leading contenders in the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award. Candidates were selected on the basis of professionalism, concern for athletes, high ethical standards, and civic and charitable stewardship. The winner will be selected through voting by fans, College Football Hall of Fame member coaches and players, national college football media, and Liberty Mutual. Open voting ends Nov. 5, and finalist voting continues through Nov. 20. The winner will be announced in an awards show Dec. 16 on ABC, and prizes include $100,000 to the charity of the coach’s choice and $20,000 to a scholarship fund through the alumni association of the coach’s school. Mark Richt deserves a slap in the face and a congressional investigation this season.

Georgia sucks so hard, Atlanta has scooted 30 miles closer to Athens.

Maybe Wies should retire from coaching and take on Kobayahsi for the hot-dog eating championship. My money would be on the fat man from ND... :D
