computer. I hear singing on the baby monitor. My wife is asleep, the radio is NOT on, my son is too young to even speak. It sounded like a young woman singing accapella.

I couldn't quite make out what song that I was hearing.

Curiosity gets the best of me. I walk to the bedroom and peak my head around the door and my son (15 months old) lets out a blood curling scream. Well, once I scraped myself off of the celing and checked my undies, I went to the crib and took him out. My wife woke up at the scream and claimed that she was not singing. My son finally settled back down. (I checked his undies too.) :P

He was happier once I gave him some milk.

Anyone know the number to the Ghostbusters? :D

I'm thinking you picked up a radio station, man. Unless you're covered with goo right now.

Then you picked up a radio station and really shouldn't be surfing those kinds of websites.

and by the way, it was accapella. Someone or something in the room was singing. This was not a radio station.

my sis lived near 91st and Delaware in Tulsa and I can remember them talking about hearing a baby crying on their monitor even when their daughter would be with them downstairs and such.

I had this old Packard Bell years ago with the big speakers on the side of the monitor. Every now and then I would pick up what I think were CB transmissions. First time it happened it scared the absolute bejesus out of me. I was in bed sound asleep when some voice started yelling at me from nowhere.\

Those things pick up all kinds of frequencies. You picked up a radio station.

There was this certain place in my closet, that if I stood in it, whoever I was on the phone with and myself would be able to hear phone conversations of one particular individual, and talk with them. I think it was someone from Louisiana or Alabama. They talked with an accent, and one time I heard the woman talking to her boyfriend. About pornos. That included donkeys.

At one point, I started mimicking the woman, and she got a little attitude. Go figure.

The well-dressed street tough that mugged Dan Rather ("What's the frequency, Kenneth?") was having the same problems. Rather should have admitted he was bugging the place of the mugger's neighbor, who happened to be an acquaintance of Oliver North.

OK - I made that up.

We once got to listen to the next-door-neighbors argue over our baby monitor. They aren't exactly "secure"... :D

I used to have some walkie talkies when I was little that would pick up people's phone conversations...
