My company is subcontracted by E&C's like Bechtel, KBR etc to work in reconstruction of energy and power facilities in Iraq right now.

I really don't see any slowdown in the amount of work happening there, but I am guessing that much of the administration of these projects is probably in the hands of the Iraqi Government now, instead of the US (which is a good thing.) I know a lot of activity is happening in the north of the country, which is pretty stable.

I bet now that the Iraqis have an elected government they will or have began building Iraqi national companies to begin this work or will turn to the islamic companies.

Hopefully not the Bin Laden company, but you never know I guess.
