And I know I'm going to get negged for it but whatever.

I know that this is a message board and we all come on here to bash who ever is sucking at the moment on what ever team is playing, but please know this.

I will neg your *** if you start talking **** on Moose. He is family and I will start kicking shins if your not at least being constructive.

He's a true freshman who came in out of shape trying his damndest to get his schooling in order before he stepped on campus.

I'm not gonna complain about 18 points. I'm sure he's got a lot of work ahead of him, but he's got some serious talent.

I think we also need to be VERY patient and forgiving of the guys who kept their commitment. True Sooners, all. :)

All I ask is that they try hard. From what I can tell, he's well on his way to doing everything I ask. :D Someone posted earlier that he went to an assistant for help, and that REALLY impressed me.

That he went for help, not that someone posted about it.

These kids are learning a new system. Therefore, slack shall be cut for them.

But just for this season. ;)

His frame reminds me a little of Bobby Joe Evans (jersey # too, for that matter). Bobby did have about 20 lbs.or so on Keith though.

To this point Clark reminds me of Terry Stotts.6'8and can shoot but not much else. Before anyone points out the obvious racial difference,I'm talking just about body type and game not making visual comparison.

I dunno...but I'm diggin' the Oklahoma Centennial Patch, it'll be interesting to see if any of the other schools are wearing them. I'll check at the TU game tomorrow night and OSU plays Friday so there should be a picture somewhere on saturday.

My thoughts exactly as Evans was listed at 6'9 265 and the weight was a tad light compared to reality.

I still can recall Bobby as a frosh(I think)schooling the 7'1 330 + Hardage kid from Mizzou.Out muscled him and was too quick as well.

lil,
(Due in large part to his Dad), Moose is now my 7 year olds favorite Sooner hoopster.

Seriously.

So, he's got at least one big fan in Colorado!

LilSooner

Moose is a great kid. I can't be happier that he is doing so well. I can't freaking believe he only got to play 6 min last night that sucked super hard core.

NormanPride
11/7/2006, 11:07 AM
Why do you think he only got those minutes? I didn't get to watch the game, but I saw that we did a lot better in the second half. Do you think there was a matchup issue with him?

TopDawg

What's the relation?

Well, when you get into foul trouble that means that you're getting close to 5 fouls. When you get 5 fouls, you are disqualified from the game. So a lot of times coaches will sit a player in foul trouble to calm him down and so that he'll be available later in the game; so that's how his limited playing time was affected by his foul trouble.

It looks like Yosemite Sam . . . (git yer gunz up!)

But then it looks like he is adding to it with the "State of Oklahoma" behind his head.

I know I could be wrong on the Y.S. part, but it looks like a cartoon character

I don't think the relation is blood...just close families.

Moose played really well last night. I like the way he attacked the basket on offense and contested shots on defense. The drive down the lane late in the game was awesome.

He still looks a little unsure of himself out there and needs to work on his D. It would be nice to see him assert his presence on the court more. I like the match-up problems he can present for opposing teams.

Not 100% on this one but I believe it is the state flag or more acurately the symbol from the state flag sitting on top of a map of Oklahoma. No doubt where this kids loyalties lie. I for one am glad to have him on the team and think with some good coaching and effort he will become a fine player in the years to come. BOOMER!

Just be glad this guy :kelvin: isn't around to run local talent off any longer.

Is there any new news on Keith Clark? When is the last day that he could be added to the roster for the upcoming season and did he become academically eligible? I haven't heard anything in awhile about him and was hoping he was coming back.
