There is no doubt J. Jackson will be back before Tech plays an opponent who has a chance to beat them.

He'll play this season.

Without him, they would be lucky to go .500.

Texas Tech’s Jackson returns to practice
Knight had dismissed leading scorer last week for academic reasons

LUBBOCK, Texas - Jarrius Jackson, Texas Tech’s leading scorer, returned to practice after being dismissed from the team last week.

Jackson worked with the team Sunday, Tech spokesman Chris Cook said.

His status for the season opener on Saturday night against Sam Houston State remained unclear. Jackson averaged 20.5 points to lead the Big 12 Conference in scoring last season.

Knight said last week that Jackson had been dismissed for academic reasons. He left open the possibility that Jackson could return to the team at a later date.

BK saw how crappy they were going to be without him for a week, then decides to let him back into practice.

Classic.

Once they face a significant opponent, JJ will be on the floor. Book it.

Maybe Bobby pulled the "OK...so your a big star are you?" card.

Sent the kid packing back to his books and told him who's in charge without having to crack a folding chair over his head.

Yeah...

brasky's right...

Knight had a panic attack after the 1st practice...lol
