I for one am not taking A&M lightly but the non conference schedule you had this year coupled with fact that the other games were against some of the weaker teams in the Big 12 gives people reason to believe that your 8-1 record is a little misleading.

Definately will be a tough game all around. You guys have taken some bad licks this season and stayed tough and at the same time the Ags have continued to improve. This wont be a gimme for either team. I will wager that it will be one of the hardest hitting games of the year.

I happen to love A&M, but if you really wanna know, I'll put it in numerical form for your ease of reading:

1. Fran is inconsistent
2. We are emboldened by a win over a paper tiger last weekend.
3. A&M could be a paper tiger.
4. Our D has been playing freaking balls out since our last OOC game.
5. You run first and you run the option. If we play good man assignment D, you're not going to break the scoreboard open and create a difficult situation from which we need to comeback.
6. You're overconfident, while we've slowly built momentum.
7. Mike Leach pwne4 you guys before the guy talking smack, snakebit you for the win, and then talked smack after the game.
8. You were the team that started losing to Baylor first so now they're actually a decent team. We don't forgive you.
9. No one does less with more than A&M.
10. OU gave A&M the most savage and animalistic thrashing that A&M has ever endured: 77-0. PLUS, your team quit.
11. The dude that danced on our field after a tackle for loss when the score was like 70-0 in #10.
12. You guys are whining for respect and attention.
13. Absolutely pathetic OOC schedule.
14. You should have lost to Baylor, OSU, and Army.
15. The buildings on your campus are ugly.
16. You bash people on the head with the hilt of a sword for touching grass.
17. You molest dates after an Aggie touchdown.
18. The "Spirit of Aggieland" is totally centered around another school.
19. You don't hear about OSU, NU, or UT in our fight song.
20. Your band is entertaining, but overrated and arrogant.
21. Baylor is one of your traditional rivals: The Battle of the Brazos.
22. If pirates can beat soldiers, then I assume f-ing hillbillies can too!
23. Websider bans posters for no reason whatsoever.
24. You never, ever beat UT anymore.
25. Fran simply isn't a good face for A&M.
26. Your women wear overalls with both straps in the operative position to football games.
27. Allen Patrick and Paul Thompson are playing at high levels.
28. College Station is not a very attractive town.
29. Boy cheerleaders.

and last, but certainly not lEAsT:
30. The Listeater!

Hey, I find it funny that the Aggie fans have all accepted our loss to tTech and moved on. It was a very lucky long bomb into the endzone that gave them the win. But its over and done with and no amount of complaining can change the past.

And yet soooner fans cant get ovet the fact that they lost to Oregon. Yes I realize it was a completely incorrect call. The refs were absolutely wrong. But it wasnt the final play of the game. OU still had the chance to show some D and stop their drive. The fact that the majority of OU fans are just whining about it instead of moving on is really pitiful. I feel like im watching my little sister after she didnt get first place at a gymnastics meet and wont quit moaning about it! Move on! Stop the pity party!

That being said, This game is going to be a very good one. Your defense has shown alot of improvement during the year. And your offense has shown they are still able to put points on the board without AP. If this game was in Norman I would be very scared, but the fact that its in College Station gives me that little extra bit of confidence to convince me we will win this game. As of monday at 4pm there were only 3,000 tickets left for sale. So there will be at least 80,000 people at Kyle come Saturday night.

Yall havent faced an offense like ours yet this year. No player we have is spectacular individually, but they work wonderfully as a team. We have 2 great TE's, a very reliable and mistake free QB, 2 reliable and fast RB's, one bull of a man at tailback, and a quick group of receivers with good hands. If Mcgee has a bad day, the RB's will puck up the slack. If yall manage to shut down our running game we have Bennett and Thomas at TE to pass too. Not to mention our 5 great receivers: Earvin Taylor, Kerry Franks, L'Tydrick Riley, Pierre Brown, and Chad Schroeder.

On defense we are just average, but improving every week. This game wont be a defensive battle. It will be a shootout for the first half, but in the second half your D will get tired, because they have been on the field so much, and make mistakes allowing us to win. Thats been our gameplan all year and has worked quiet well. We currently lead the nation in TOP.

1. We have accepted what happened w/Oregon. We know that on the books it is a loss but it was acutally a win:D I havent heard of any bitching or moaning about that game in quite some time. I donno where you got the idea that we are still complaining about it but WE ARE NOT!

2. Its AD not AP

3. As far as OUr team not facing an offense like yours....Well we will see. yOU talk like your offense is flawless and they do not make mistakes. Well OUr defense will be ready and your QB better watch for Rufus and the rest of the Red Ant Defense!

4. it is pretty arrogant of you to say that OUr D will tire in the second half and start making mistakes. Lets just wait and see what happens Saturday.

As far as the noise at Kyle Filed....OUr stadium holds 85000: we are used to the noise. Granted it is a tuff venue, But we have beat yOU before in yOUr house! :pop:

Ive lived in College Station since 2001 and 95% of the time we dont even think about UT. Its only during football season when we are about to play them. Yes our fight sing is about beating UT. . .but guess what ITS A FOOTBALL FIGHT SONG. It expresses our desire to win in the most important single game of the year.

This game scared me before the season started. It has nothing to do with how good the Aggie team is. It has to do with OUr historical lack of execution in this game, especially in Collie Station and a stadium that is louder than any other that we play in outside of the Cotton Bowl (and the whole stadium is against us minus maybe 5000 seats). Plus the Aggies are crazy, and they have a Corps of Cadets that thinks they are real Soldiers.

It will be a shootout for the first half, but in the second half your D will get tired, because they have been on the field so much, and make mistakes allowing us to win. Thats been our gameplan all year and has worked quiet well. We currently lead the nation in TOP.

As far as TOP goes, you've held the ball for an average of a whole 3 mins longer than us. I think our D will be fine.

Lets get some things cleared up here:

:pop:

1)From this thread
"Added for Ike:
Were two zebras away from being undefeated...."

2)His name is Adrian Peterson, Initials = AP. . .But if you want to give him a nickname, have at it.

3) Mcgee has thrown 1 interception in 225 passes. Thats as close to flawless as you will find in college football.

4) Any defense will get tired and make mistakes after being on the field for 30 minutes. And by mistakes I mean missed tackles and a tired D-line letting bigger holes open up. But you are correct, we will see on Saturday.

As far as the noise, Kyle field is ALOT louder than Gaylord. Your stadium is an open bowl, alot of sound escapes. Ours is alot more vertical keeping the sound in. Ive been to 3 games at OU (I dated a girl who atttended OU back in 02) and it was loud, but it was nowhere near as loud as Kyle Field.

It expresses our desire to win in the most important single game of the year.

You're making this too easy. I don't think you're smart enough to get into A&M.

1. UT has been top notch the past 5 years or so. Before then, why was it the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT, hmmmm? After you're out of the conference race (which A&M is immediately after you play either BU or TT), why is it more important than any other conference game?

2. Why are there upside down longhorns in the urinals at the student union?

3. Why did A&M try to get different colored Gatorade coolers on the sideline because the brand color is orange?

4. Haven't heard of almost any of those receivers. Daniel Sepulveda of BU has more regional notoriety than your WRs.

OK, noob, ring the bells, school's in, sucka:
1. Adrian Peterson = AD. Allen PAtrick = AP.

2. Our defense has actually been on the fiel thirty minutes before and played fine. By your reasoning, your D will be tired too. And they aren't as good as ours to begin with anyway. I like your reasoning.

3. WE'VE BEEN TO COLLEGE STATION BEFORE. We know it's loud. Our players know it's loud. It's physically impossible to be as loud as Autzen, but still it's loud. Are we going to all of a sudden start fumbling the ball and missing tackles?! No.

Aggie's real rivals are Baylor. They can't even beat Tech lately. Unfortunately they can't even hang on the same field as the 'horns.

As for "leading the nation in TOP," they should running a high school option running attack with a slow and fat RB.

1) Because its a rivalry game? and I didnt say it was the "SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT" game, I said it was the "most important single game of the year" aka if you ask any Aggie which game they want to win the most, they would say UT, because it a rivalry. But the success of the team over the season is more important than just the UT game. We wouldnt trade an 11-1 season losing to UT for a 1-11 season beating UT. Understand the difference?

2)I have never seen the upside down longhorns in the urinals at the MSC, but that puzzles me because we typically just cut the horns off for our anti-longhorn symbol. Yall show it upside down.

3) Ive heard rumors of that, but it was mainly the extreme die-hards. . .most(90%) of us could care less what color our coolers are.

4) I know you havent heard of them, because we havent had to use them. We are a rush offense. But they are there and are very talented.

Citadel, current record 3-5
Louisiana-Lafayette, current record 4-3
Army, current record 3-6
Louisiana Tech, current record 2-6

Its going to be a tough game, but your 8-1 record is a joke.

Add the fact that Army was less than 5 yards away from beating A&M. Add the fact that they got a lucky 1-point win over OSU.

They very easily could be 6-3 with three of those wins against extremely weak teams.

True, with an in-state rivarly like that, you can throw the records out the window.

(I would start with an Ace of Base record)
