This weekend, I heard him say,

"Never tell your problems to people. 90% don't care, and 10% are glad you have them."

sage advice IMHO.

Excellent.
I've never felt compelled to take such advice, but I recognize it when I see it

Everyone gives Holtz such a hard time for everything he says, he's just an old crazy guy. Old people say lots of crazy things.

One of my b-school professors used to say something like that that all the time.

"90% of the world doesn't care about your problems, the other 10% are glad"


And are you sure Lou said it? You sure he just wasn't reading it?

BTW, if people stopped sharing their problems around here, this board would suffer a profound loss of hilarity. I guess that puts many of us in Lou's 10% category.;)
