OK, so they wear their white jerseys at home and last night they wore their white jerseys at Carolina. When do they ever wear their blue jerseys? Is there some reason why they do this? Just curious...

For a long time, the home teams always wore dark jerseys and the visiting time wore whites (like last night) except Dallas who wore whites everywhere. On occasion, they'd travel and that home team would wear whites so Dallas had to wear the dark jerseys. Usually this is the case when they play at Washington.

Dallas supposedly had bad luck in dark (lost games) and always wore white. When Dallas visited, the home team would choose to wear white, making Dallas wear dark and giving them some bad mojo...

I'm surprised that the Panthers chose to wear their dark jerseys last night. When they hosted the Cowboys in two playoff games (1996 and 2003), the Panthers wore white and won both. Last year, the Panthers also hosted the Cowboys and wore white, although the Cowboys pulled it out in the end.
In four Cowboy road games this year, the Cowboys have worn blue twice and white twice. They're 0-2 in the blue (losses to Jacksonville and Philly) and 2-0 in the white (beating the Titans and Panthers).
This week, the Cowboys are assured of wearing the blue, since the Redskins wear white at home. The Cowboys will probably wear white on the road after that. Arizona's worn their dark jerseys since moving into their new stadium, the Giants will wear their home unis (although in the past they liked to wear white at home to make the Cowboys put on the dark unis) and the Falcons will likely wear either red or black in the Georgia Dome.

Dallas usually has to wear blue at Philly, Washington, and Arizona; this goes back to the 70's when the organization thought that the blue jerseys were a jinx, so they were white as much as possible
