I'm just curious if he gets an invite anyway. I think he should - even if he doesn't get another carry the rest of the year.

You have the frontrunners - T. Smith, S. Slaton, B.Quinn, & maybe T. Ginn. Now I know that this is is the myopic view from Sooner Fan, but I'm thinking that he should go. (get an invite & be on the ballot) I mean he is arguably one of the best college football players in the nation . . . even when injured. Now I by no means would expect him to win it, because it is basically a popularity contest, but don't you think that he should go?

Tell me I'm a homer it's ok - I can take it.

He got hurt far too early in the season for your scenario to materialize.

I think he would have to come back and play against OSU, and break Billy Sims record. I just can't justify a running back going to the Heisman ceremony with less than 1000 yards.

A rusher without a thousand yards being invited? uh...ok:rolleyes:
The only way Peterson goes to New York is if James Hale is over the ballot counting:D

I would make sure that AD had a good time in NYC, FWIW. I know bartenders and bouncers.
