On Prime Time on the West Coast....

His Trojans (With OJ - Garrnet - Davis -Cummingham etc) had only 7 offensive plays...
Say's how do expect these kids to learn 300 to 400 plays and still go to school and party... :)

Never really cared for him - But I gotta say his College record speaks for itself...

(My guess is "as I remember it" - Bud Wilkinson probably only had 12 to 15 offensive plays)

McKay was actually pretty funny in his press dealings, and he did have the brains to pick the Selmons with his first 2 draft picks, so he's okay in my book

Actually, he drafted LeeRoy 1 and Dewey 3.

Funny McKay ramblings:

"We didn't block very well, but we made up for it by not tackling."

"Our team's execution? Well, I'm all for it."

He was the father of football in Tampa. No coach who lost his first 26 games has ever been as adored as he was.
