Be working their hind ends off this week after seeing what Tech is doing to the horns.

Tech away from Lubbock is a completely different team. This is still the same team that scored a grand total of 3 points against Colorado a couple of weeks ago.

What do we have to worry about? Stoops' defenses have owned the spread offense. Case in point today at Mizzou.

I really don't see how prepping the secondary for Tech is going to help on the 4th.

Well, Mizzu did drop some deep pass that should be caught. But, yeah the secondary is very very good today.

You're right. I just watched A&M beat Baylor in Waco and they did it on the option play. It was there all night. It will be there against us if we're not prepared for it.

McGee runs and passes as well as Daniel (based on what he did tonight).

yeah, we always seem to give up a big play or 3 to start the game and then tighten up as the game goes on.

hopefully people have jumped off the FIRE BRENT VENABLES wagon and realize the players have to make plays.

TexasGolfer, McGee has been pretty consistant. The problem OU will have with A&M is TOP. Our defense is pretty suspect, therefore running the option, up the gut, and a little spread now and then is the best way we can controll OUs offense. This is going to be our toughest game of the season. It is apparent that even without Peterson you guys have a pretty solid offense.

Three consecutive cornerback starts from Lendy Holmes and he still hasn't given up a touchdown. In fact, in those three games since D.J. Wolfe has been benched, we've only given up one TD pass on a busted safety coverage in the first quarter versus Iowa State.

Hats off to BJW for ending the secondary shuffle and leaving Holmes and Walker as his cornerback starters! Nothing short of finding a decent safety so the best corner, Reggie Smith, could be moved back where he belongs would be better.
