You're luckier still you escaped Achmed. Sooner or later he'd have had you spittin' out little Desert Princes and then he'd have hornswaggled you into going over to visit his fam in Muslimpotamia. Whereupon, shazaaaam, he'd a stuck you in a burka, yanked your passport, performed a religiously-mandated female circumcision on you with pinking shears, and we'd have never heard from you again.

absurd? it happens far more than anyone really knows.

HUH????
Did you or did you not change your User Title to read "Lucky" after your accident presumably indicating you were "Lucky" to live through the wreck.

Congratulations on your living anniversary.

Sheesh....you gotta explain everything to some people! :)

I can't believe you f***ed up some perfectly good fuel tanks. I'll have to watch for you because I acidize mine and buff them with scotch brite to bring them to a mirror shine.

Seriously....you survived an encounter with an 80,000 pound vehicle. If you don't believe in God, you should now. I still feel bad for you as it was not your fault.

Battery seems to be in good shape.

Was the insurance co. able to sell the parts to a junkyard to re-coup some of the cash they lost on your settlement?

I have a soft spot in my heart for inusrance companies.

I have no idea what they did with it. the back half was fine, so they might have been able to get something out of the tail lights, bumper, etc. They gave me a healthy check and I put it towards the new one. So I was a happy camper.

TopD.

I get the shudders when I see these pics and think of what might have happened.
I thank our Living God that you walked away from it all.

I forgot about the detials of that accident. That is very scary. The driving experts tell you to be ready for anything at anytime when you are driving. Your accident is a reminder that it is true - anything can happen at any time. I hope you have a celebration dinner on every anniversary of it happening, just as a reminder of how lucky you were.
