Brent Mussberger is comparing him to every great quarterback in the history of the world...

Sounds like their love affair with Brad Smith.

Every other couple words is "Chase Daniel".

I'll drink to that.

Bob Davie just promissed us eternal life if we accept Chase Daniel as our lord and savior.

Fellas, show some respect, Chase Daniel just dove for a first down like no other quarterback has ever dove for a first down...

I mean, I'll admit that he is the greatest qb to ever play the game, but i'm not sure he can levitate like Musburger said.

Definitely some serious man-love going on there.

Burnt Hamburger must have been tipping a few. He had a woody for Chase (that old aged man-love is gross) and a woody for that pizza place. Oh, BTW, Burnt - that hat you were wearing was REALLY Liberace Gay! You should stick to old fogey sports announcing like that horse race you were plugging...

I swear to God - that love-fest was gross. Funny how Mizzou turned it around like ole Dad Daniel's said...Mom Daniels looked like an old failed cheerleader...

Davie was recruiting us a QB there in the 2nd Half. I thought that was pretty cool.

Prior to the game, we went down to the field for the warmups. There is no way CD is 6' 1" and 220 lbs. I am very close to 6' 1" and weight 215 and I was a heck of a lot bigger than him. I asked a Mizzu booster sitting next to us how big he was and he stated 5' 10"??? He said that is why he wasn't highly recruited. I can say he is one tough kid....he took many hard shots and kept playing. In the 4th quarter, he was limping between plays and was still making plays....

I thought Daniels was the leader and playmaker he was advertised to be. Our D played very well, and I don't think Daniels is surrounded by optimal talent.

That said, I have offered my wife and daughter to him as a sacrifice in order to gain acceptance as a man in his universe.

I think Daniels is a aweseome talent however the boob on the sideline will mess him up just like he did Brad Smith

Muschberger got in on it too. It was the only redeeming feature of Davie's otherwise terrible color commentary.

what are you talking about? i learned that mike leach was at ou for several years. here i was the last 7 years thinking that he had been there for only the 99 season, looking like a jackass. ;)

on the other topic though, i saw chase play in hs. dude was a perfect fit for the system they ran at southlake. mizzou's offense is almost exactly the same as southlakes. that means this is his 6th year in the same offense. he's not going to be playing like most first year starters do. he's got a lot more of a grasp on the offense. big advantadge for him.

This guy is a freshman and i've already become sick and tired of listening to people hype this guy. I don't think he's a bad QB, but it's ridiculous. Maybe thet new will wear off a little after yesterday...??
