Here's a few reasons...Seems like we always struggle at Mizzou, plus they're QB is playing lights out, we're missing AD, we drop o'plenty of passes, and they all want to see us lose (whoever "they" are :D ).

Not sure. According to the computers we should be favored by a point and a half.
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt06.htm
OU Predictor (86.18) - Mizzou Predictor (81.56) - Home Field Advantage (2.82)
= 1.8 in favor of OU

Why didn't you use the actual Sagarin ranking numbers (purple), in which the teams are actually sorted. By those numbers:

OU Rating (82.98) - MU Rating (81.31) - Home Field Advantage (2.82) = 1.15 in favor of MU

(I know Pepper, hence the sarcasm) :)

Why don't we try playing the game instead of giving a **** what computers say?

I hear ya...I can't wait for the game tomorrow! It should be a good one, win or lose.

I'd prefer if no one had us picked to win myself...

How is a Missouri fan suppose to know that's an upside down horn? We don't obsess about Texas in the North Division. :)

nah, it's cool Rick. welcome aboard.

of course, no one obsesses about you anywhere. ;) :D

That's true. :)

That's hopefully going to change after this season....at least that is our hope. We can't let Nebraska rein supreme in the North any longer. ;) (well, now that K-State is down that is) :)

When we're the under dogs, its because the rest of the world forgets who we are.

Even when we hit a rough spot, we pick ourselves up and get back in the race. :D

What's the latest spread? Like 1 1/2 or 2? Usually the home team is good for 3-4 points. That means that that on a neutral field that OU would be a slight fave and probably 4-5 points at home. Missouri has a good team this year but Columbia, Mo is not a tough place to play. Last time OU played there Brad Smith had his greatest game ever as a Tiger, OU played mediocre and yet OU won.

Chase Daniel is very good and MU will score some points. Still don't see how OU doesn't run all over the MU defense though.

As funny as it seems, some people get their kicks steppin' on dreams, but I don't let it get me down, because this old world keeps spinnin' around. :D

To be honest with you, our field's only advantage is that we are use to playing on it. The stadium isn't set up to really create problems with crowd noise (nor do we hold enough people). With the field turf now, no one can say that we tried to put the other team at a disadvantage with grass. Plus, it will just make your team that much faster. They are calling for great weather too (heard a high of 61 and sunny). So, it's not really a tough place to play, as a visitor, but it's a nice place to watch a good football game. :)

GO TIGERS!!!

Missouri doesn't worry me as much considering their atmosphere isn't as intimidating as Kyle Field. Of course, that doesn't mean it's going to be easy. If the defense can play like they did vs Colorado then we should be fine. Allen Patrick has proven himself and Thompson gets better and better each week.

Of course this is a big game for Missouri for all purposes. This as well is a big game for OU because Mizzou is ranked and doing very well. A win for either school will propel them, imo, to top 15 status.

Oklahoma 28
Missouri 24

Agreed. This is a big game for both schools. It would be nice for us, if we can beat someone of your caliber. Trying not to look ahead too much, but next weeks game is actually bigger for us in regards to a north title. For respect purposes, we need to beat a team like Oklahoma. Our defense can get comfy because of the confidence they have in the offense. Our DL tends to rush the QB very hard, and it's going to be painful for us all day long when you all counter with screens and draws up the middle. I'm very excited to see how our offense does against a defense as good as yours though.

Here's to a good game tomorrow guys!!!

GO TIGERS!!!!

Usually if the home team is a 2 point or less favorite, the oddsmakers feel its a toss up game

The line is set to make Vegas the most money, it has very little to do with who the odds-makers believe will win the game.
