i found it sort of a frightening symptomatic confirmation of what i fear most about the political landscape. not that dim ads are any different.

if people want to live in a political joke of a world, then quit lying to ourselves about this "great democracy" we live in.

it's a sideshow and a tabloid fairytale.

It most certainly is racist. It plays upon the (unfortunately) still prevalent white southern males fear of black men having sex with white women.

Without passing judgment on the ad itself, might I note that the psychological ploy of "Black men will seduce your women, and if they can't, they'll just rape them" is very old indeed (colonial times at the least). In 1921 such a situation started the Greenwood (Tulsa) race riot.
