Some of you may remember that we lost OUr 13 year old Brittney Spaniel a few months back.

Well...I'm happy to annOUnce the newest Edition to OUr family...

Buddy B.

8 week old Golden Retriever.

The kids love him and he's already learning quite a bit.

Anyway...thought I'd share the event.

Have you ever had a Golden before? If not, you are in for a huge treat. Puppies until they are three years old, very bright.

JK, I'm already trying to talk my husband into another pup. <sigh> He is so stubborn and insists that three dogs are enough. :mad:

we are signing up to be a foster home for the golden rescue society here....they are tough to resist

we have 2 now, i'd never have just one dog.....they're so entertaining as a pair and just as easy to care for

The President of the Dallas/Ft Worth. Metroplex Golden Retriever Club is a good friend of mine. She helped us get our current Golden.

just a note, if you want to know what color your golden is going to be, look at his ears

i'm assuming "Buddy B." is a male.......he's already got huge feet... you're going to have a big dog!

introduce him to water as soon as you can :)
