I had one on my arm briefly.

I have had another within inches of my face. Working on a commode, I leaned on the top looking for a leak under the tank. There was a Black Widow right on the bottom of the tank only 2-3 inched from my face.

If I can see it, it's too big! :)

I'm not necessarily skeered of them, but I don't want them in my house or garage!

Kinky.....

Oh, and apparently one time my granddad had a black widow on his thumb, and it was trying like hell to bite him but couldn't. He was a carpenter and farmer, and his hands were too tough for the thing to bite. He sqooshed it with the same thumb it was trying to bite.

Have y'all heard that if a mosquito bites (or whatever they do) into one of your muscles and you flex it and keep it flexed they can't release and just keep sucking blood until they 'splode?

I heard from a trustworthy friend that she used to do this, but I've never heard anyone else mention it. Anyone care to confirm or deny what she claimed?

Well...during my summer in Drum Corps, we were in North or maybe South Dakota and we were stretching and doing crunches/a whole bunch of other ****/peaches and I had a big *** mosquito explode while he was on my abdomen...that might have been what caused it. Other people had skeeters explode on them as well.

my pet cockatoo is kinda orange-ish. When his wings were clipped we used to take him out in the yard--he liked to defoliate tree branches, so we started calling him Agent Orange.

And so, as the sun sinks slowly in the west, and the friendly natives wave goodbye, another thread drifts helplessly, far from topic.

Ekshully, I NEVAR solicit neg from PG 'cause once I saw that pic of her in her G.I Jane (fark?) garb and the one of her chubby lil' foot in that sorta-corrective-looking shoe, well, let's face it...I'm in love, or, at the very least, lust. (But respectfully, mind you!)
As for you, SAS, thou scurvy knave, best be kind to the fair maiden, lest I mount my steed, step my lance, and serve thee, adrip with dying gore, up to her gaze, en brochette.
