That is all.

Ginger in any form will help alleviate nausea, but fresh ginger is best. Buy a "hand" of fresh ginger, scrape the brown, papery stuff away from the outside with a spoon, and grate it to release the juice. Put it into cool water, and then strain out the pulp. You can keep a pitcher of ginger water in the refrigerator.

Citrus also works wonders. Slices and squeezes of fresh lemons or limes in water or soda water will settle your nausea better than anything with sugar. If you want a little sweetness, try adding a few drops of maple syrup to take the edge off.

The old wive's tale of 7-UP and saltines can actually make it worse because the processed sugar and white flour exacerbate nausea. Try to get more protein with quick things like turkey slices, hard boiled eggs, peanut butter, and raw almonds. The carbon (charcoal) created by toasting bread can help a little, but try to stick to "nuts and twigs" bread. The more fresh fruit and vegetables you can mange, the better, too. Apple slices dipped in peanut butter were great with my first pregnancy, but every one is different. I hope you feel better quickly so that you can really enjoy making a miracle. :)

As all of you notice, it is such a positive name. You can count on Norm for all of the positive comments. :)

Congrats, Norm family!

Morning sickness is horrible. The only thing that kept me out of bed for 9 weeks was Zofran. It's $10 a pill but well worth every penny.

Saltine crackers and a tea made out of fresh ginger and honey might help.

Ooh. Morning sickness... ugh. I had it all day tho. The only thing that didn't make me toss my my cookies was Hawaiian Punch and bean burritos from Taco Mayo. Maybe that's why the kid loves mexican food so much now. :)

Congrats Mrs Norm! Oh... and Norm too. :)

Congrats and sympathy.
I even had to give up a trip to the Super Bowl and Bahamas due to morning sickness. And Lil Baja will never live that down.
