the only thing that bothers me about this movie is if I'm a single girl, by myself and i'm going into a dark house and I think a stranger might be in my house-TURN THE FRIGGIN LIGHT ON!! But no, they wander around in the dark like blonde bimbos

Well, they're harder to kill if they're smart. But that's part of what makes this movie so great; the fact that it was the first of the "slasher" flicks. All the things that are cliches now were actually breakthrough in this one. :D

What I love about Halloween is the way that Michael Myers spends all day long hiding in plain sight; driving around in a stolen State of Illinois station wagon that no one ever seems to notice. You'd never seen Jason stalking people in a car; that's what makes Michael Myers scarier IMO.

I never quite thought about it that way, lol

Yeah, it's the general population ringtone on my cell right now. John Carpenter is a tupping genius. :D

SWEET! They're showing it again now, with the "DVD-TV" info and features at the bottom of the screen.

GET YOUR LEARN ON! :D

It's not like you're gonna get a MENSA candidate into a panel van. :D

I love the part when she get's home from school and looks out the upstairs window to see him looking at her near the shrubbery.

also the night scene where the loonies are out in the yard in the rain.

I know...that nurse's line is wonderfully stupid.

"since when do we let 'em just wander around like that?"

Agreed. Michael was a mobile killer. :D
