The people on Tigerboard.com think that they'll go to the Cocktail Party in Jacksonville instead, even though UGA might get wiped off the map by the Gators. One poster said that they have a tendency to go to the annual big games, like UGA/UF, Michigan/Ohio State and even the RRS. Funny, since they haven't been at the RRS since 2002.

Dude, there is no friggin' way GameDay comes within 100 miles of Columbia. We could both be undefeated, and they'd still find some Ivy League game to be at. :D

How did they find the way to Stillwater for the 2004 OU-OSU game, then?:D

It was late October. Wasn't the Cocktail Party played on the same day?

Game Day only goes where Kirk goes for the game of the week..Sadly the Game of the Week for every week was set long ago..

Negative, they've flown him different places after the gameday in the morning. Plus there isn't a night game this week.

I say no way...MAYBE if both teams would have been undefeated.

Hmmmm... A number 6 team versus a rival whose game has a title. Or #19 vs. #20. (BCS rankings)

I think Gameday would rather cover a national contender than a game whose teams are competing for third place in the Big 12.

I really have to think long and hard about this one.

If they do show up they could do a heartwarming piece on all the great mizery legends of the past. That list includes...

Um...

Uh...

Really not sure there is such a list. Well, then maybe they could do a piece on the last mizery team to win a conference title. You remember that team, don't you? That would be the...

Uh...

Nevermind.

I can't believe you're selling the "who will get to go to the Cotton Bowl?" angle so short. :D

I can't believe I said "whose" so much in one post.

I'm pretty sure I used it correctly, too. :P

The only Mizzou legend that jumps out of my brain is Soldier Winslow Sr.

Does Phil Bradley count as a Mizzou legend, or maybe James Wilder?

Its possible I would think...OU-Mizzou is the only match up between ranked opponents this week I think and Gameday has already been to two Florida games. That said, probably not.

Rule #1 of College GameDay: There is NO such thing as "Going to too many SEC games." :D

Rule #3 of College Gameday: someone yells Stop!, goes limp, taps out, the segment is over.

Don't they occasionally just stay in the studio for the week, when there are no big games going on? Seems like they do that maybe once a year.

Gameday will start coming to Big XII games when ABC/ESPN has a contract for the majority of the games, and this has a reason to push Big XII match-ups. You don't want to get people excited for league that has more of it's games on another network.
