is hilarious.

I know "why were you at a poke board, derrrr", etc. I wanted to get the breakdown of the screwups in their game yesterday. I should have known that what they had to say was going to be hilariously ridiculous.

Finally got home... we are a GOOD team
We had some bad luck tonight that caused us to lose. Mainly: Having Reid out for most of the game. I think Robinson is an outstanding young quarterback, but he's not Reid. He has the skills, but not the head to make plays just yet that would cause our team to jump out on top 27-13 like I think BR does for us.

We are BETTER than A&M. We just lost our star player. Period.

I know our defense gave up a 4th and 13 with under 1:30 to play. I know we didn't stop them in OT. I know we had our EP blocked. But none of that matters if we have Reid in the whole game.

When we have our full offense we are almost unstopable. We have the #1 offense in the conference and we are a top 25-30 team at worst.

Sitting at 4-3 right now and SHOULD FREAKING ME 8-0!!!!!

I'm proud of our guys.

That said....

A few thoughts:

1. We should have ran the ball more at the end of the game, to give Robinson a better chance, and ran it to the OUTSIDE. Our receivers and TEs were putting CRUSHING blocks on their defensive players. The outside was open all night.

2. We looked so damn lost on defense today. What the hell???? Defense again? PLEASE SHOW UP! re: 8-0 comment - apparently, they should have eight wins in their seven games

I'm not buying this. I may be wrong, but did the backup not have 3 td passes? Sounds like he did a pretty effective job, but then again, like most people NOT at stillwater, I didn't catch the game.

Meaning what? Most likely that he used to be 6'6", 160, and then got to college. The guy knows roughly jack and also sh*t about football, and is just lubing himself up to slide into Blobert Allen's spot when he finally keels over from one too many plates of cheese fries from Joe's.

Every single time I hear an OSU fan open their mouth, it seems like I want to slap myself because of the Aggie blood my dad passed on to me. That's the REAL reason that I was at OU (on and off) for 13 years. I had to genetically cleanse myself.

After the game I was at the tailgate listening to the OSU game with my headphones and I announced OSU scored a touchdown in overtime. Then I said to bri "Hey man, they'll remember they are Aggies and blow it." The next thing I hear out of my headphones was that the extra point was blocked.

EVERY SINGLE ONE of their losses I have said something similar and EVERY SINGLE TIME they blew the game in the last few minutes.

ok kids. I did a little exhibit Saturday morning at an Indian Electric Meeting/trade show. it was in Cleveland, which is halfway betwixt Tulsa and Stillwater.
I sported my T. Marshall painting there because Cleveland is mainly an OU (Billy Vessels) town.
I got about 6 or 7 comments about the painting saying it would be better if it was orange (have you ever felt compelled to tell anyone sporting oSu anything that it needs to be crimson and cream? not f'in me).
one redneck told me the painting needed a broke (bad grammar) shoulder or collar bone.
the kicker was the local optometrist who just so happens to own a few prints of mine.
he tells me that it's sad we only have football to cheer for as oSu has football, basketball, wrasslin and golf to enjoy yearly. I laugh and tell him football is #1 here Oklahoma.
he brags that the oSu game is sold out. I laugh and tell him ou is every game and a much bigger stadium.
he talks about our girls bball being better than the mens blah blah blah.

Holder predicted that there will be empty seats for the Nebraska and OU games. The Sooners visit Stillwater on Nov. 25.

"It won't sell out," Holder said, referring to the ****** contest, "unless people come and buy those club seats tomorrow. Where have they been for the last five months?"

The lowest-priced ****** ticket is $100.

If oSu is better than A&M, then maybe they need to prove it and beat us. We've beat them about 5 times in the past 7 years. I understand why A&M isn't getting any respect from teams like the Sooners -- we have to earn it -- but to hear crap like this from oSu is ridiculous. Scoreboard!

Because of the ongoing stadium renovation, OSU's seating capacity has dropped from 48,500 to 43,500. In 2005, the average attendance for six home dates was 44,860. This season's average is 42,456.

aren't renevations supposed to increase your seating capacity?

it's the new collegiate camo from Realtree. It's called "empty stadium seat". It's very popular in Stillwater.

This is the main reason I don't hunt, you have to wear orange. F*CK THAT. Not going to happen.
