PT throws for #375 yds and runs for 150+. OU wins the game. Then ESPN reports that Troy Smith from ETATS OIHO has thrown for #150 yds and ran for another 65 yds and proclaims that no other Heisman candidate has ever matched those statistics. ESPN announces that Troy Smith is the undisputed, undefeated Heisman Trophy WINNER OF THE WORLD and grants him his belt/trophy before the season has ended. Troy Smith begins his eternal parade w/Mohamid Ali as the all time GREATEST! NQA!!

LMAO at WF!

That's so likely to be true, and so sad...

PT could throw for 1000 and run for 300 and win 125-3 and still be considered a crap QB for a crap team.

That might explain why so many Sooner fans consider seasons over when we lose a single game by 1-3 points.

As long as Ohio State continues to win, Troy Smith will continue to be the favorite even if he doesnt' even throw the ball one time or carry it even once.

guys..ENA is the man, but his numbers are not even the best in the conference. You cant expect the NATIONAL media to recognize him when he is not blatantly standing out among conference QB's..he does not lead the Big 12 in any statistical category and his team has 2 losses. Heisman? Come on man....look at these stats, and not being a SOONER, would ENA stand out? And this is just 5 Big 12 QB's...I did not even include Chase Daniel or Brett Meyer, or A&M's QB. Hats of to ENA for stepping in a being a leader but we sound kinda silly saying he needs to be in the Heisman race.

and Troy Smith? Aside from being on the #1 team and his team being undefeated.
He has 1495 yards, 17 TD's, 2 INT's, a 172.7 Rating, (6th in Nation), and 68% completion percentage.

Im not seeing the bias you guys speak of. IF you were talking about Brady Quinn I would. His numbers are horrible yet he is still mentioned. I'm just not seeing how anyone could say ENA is doing comparable to Troy Smith. If you say that then so is most of the other QB's in our conference.

I guess we're still hung up on the ESPN rant of "Troy Smith made ONE play against a mediocre and overrated Penn State defense. He is clearly the best ever."

Troy Smith did nearly the same thing Bomar did, and didn't get kicked off, now he's a comeback hero? I hope Michigan beats them in the 'shoe by 30.

Did you start tailgating a little early?

PT doesn't even get 1st team big 12 this year. Probably not 2nd or 3rd either.

He isn't really a contender for it now and he is only going to get worse without AD.

...old Taryton commercial... "I'll eat my hat", when PT and the Heisman are mentioned in the same sentence.
