I found a bomber jacket that I really love and I'm considering buying, but I don't want to look like a stooge in one. Usually bomber jackets look like **** on short skinny guys right?

I might not be ther best person to give advice on what to wear and what not to wear but I'mnot gonna let that stop me from giving advice.

If you like it, get it and wear it.

Not if they fit right.

Althouh the one I wear isn't the "classic" bomber jacket design, either. But I figured that since my previous jacket had lasted 10 years before falling apart, shelling out on a nice leather one was probably an ok investment.

The social rules of Baylor society aren't such that one can wear anything they want so long as they like it. We have to consider what others think here. We're WASPs damned it. ;)

Seriously, I can't imagine me looking like anything but a moron in this thing but to answer GHP it fits perfect.

You're a pretty slim guy which means I can probably chalk up the "slim" part to not being a problem. Now the short issue...

Well, Ice... you should go ahead and get it. I mean, Viper, you only live once. Hear what I'm sayin', Slider?

Go ahead, Goose. You've earned it.

That's pretty sweet actually. The only thing I don't like is the ruffled/elastic thing on the bottom.

The one I'm looking at is pretty close to this

I have always been under the belief that if you have to ask people about a certain piece of clothing under consideration for your wardrobe then it wasn't meant to be.

Of course, be your own man and do whatever you like. You obviously do that in regards to what you imbibe. Hold your head up with confidence and you'll prolly pull it off and people will think you're cool for it. Be all slouchy and indecisive when wearing it and you're the loser trying to pull off a bomber jacket.

Okay this is the jacket almost exactly only I'm not as cool as this guy.

If you have to ask is a pretty solid rule for many facets of life.

I think every post he makes is a cry for help.

But seriously SicEm, just freakin buy it if you like it. If someone things you look like a tard in it and holds it against you, then ****'em, they're not worth your time anyway.

I think I'll get the jacket. I just don't want to throw down that kind of cash for something I may not be happy with.

I'll make sure it fits well and give it one last look and then grab it up. I just hope these things are warm....then again the temperature in Waco doesn't exactly get sub-zero.

If I'm not mistaken, there are height and weight requirements for pilots. As in: them dudes can't be too big.
