View Full Version : Changing text in a .pdf

Is there any way?

The reason I ask is that a guy I work with is having trouble passing this stupid wellbore positioning test and he heard that you could save the certificate as a .pdf and change the grade to show you passed.

It's not me, I already passed it but I had help and some questions are just damn near impossible to get right.

I told them to save it as an MS Paint file but is there another way?

Thanks

You can buy adobe acrobat and edit pdf files.

OK, the boss has acrobat open and is trying to figure out how to edit.

Any advice?

there should be a button with T or text, highlight the text and change it

This is kind of the reason why legal documents are typically posted as .pdfs...

Along the same lines...

I have software that allows me to add text to a PDF form, but I can't find one that will remove the .pdf part and just print my text so that I can use an original form.

I told them it probably wouldn't work because when Architects and Engineers respond to requests for information in construction they send the answers back as .pdfs so the contractor can't change them.

Exactly. Whenever I write a policy online, the policy generates as a .pdf so I can't go in there and, say, delete everything from the exclusions.

It's really not me. I'm just trying to help him out. You have to pass this to geet enrolled in a three week school for work and I'm already enrolled. You gotta pass this school in order to break out and not be a trainee anymore. That's worth an extra $100/day.

OK, he got the 74 removed from the score and now he needs to insert an 87.

Any more advice?
